About the Boosters
The PHS Music Boosters is a volunteer organization governed by an elected Board and its members. Parents are encouraged to participate in the booster organization, serve in Board positions, and volunteer for activities throughout the school year to provide organizational and financial support to the Portola High School Music Department.
The PHS Music Boosters primary function is to support the following priorities as established by the Music Department Directors:
to increase and enrich the educational experience of all students in the music program
to support the activities of the music program through fundraising, organization, and volunteer coordination
to promote and encourage support of the music program from the community, student body, faculty, administration and IUSD School Board.
to foster a closer relationship between families, students, and music staff
